This is my first try using the new Textured Impressions Manhattan Flower Die from Stampin' Up. It's hard to see that the flower is deeply embossed. Also used was the new scallop oval punch and white white 5/8" satin ribbon available in the Occasions Mini Catalog. I plan on using the this die for scrapbooking also.

Fresh Cuts
Here's another 12 x 12 scrapbook page we did at our April scrapbook class. I used only one 5 x 7 photo. I am always amazed how each person uses this layout to create their own wonderful creation. This layout was a great way to use up some of your scrap pieces of card stock. We used the stamp set Fresh Cuts and for the flowers in the 1/2" circles we used Sweet Stems. Card stock used was basic black, pretty in pink, pixie pink, gable green and whisper white.

Cherished Moment
Saturday was our monthly scrapbook class so I thought I would share with you one of the pages we completed. We used the same products as the card I posted on April 10th. This shows you how your stamp sets can be used for both scrapbooking and card making. The products from the Occasions Mini are Walk in the Park designer series paper, the stamp set is Great Friends, the 5/8" whisper white satin ribbon and the scallop oval. We also used Baja Breeze, Whisper White and Basic Gray card stock.
We had a great time talking and laughing while making scrapbook pages.

Pocket Silhouettes
Sorry I've been away from my blog this past week. I had a busy week painting and decorating. My Daughter is expecting in June so we painted and decorated the nursery. We bought my Grandson a twin bed for his Birthday, so of couse we had to paint and redecorate his room also. Both rooms turned out so cute.
So about this card... Need a quick and easy card? Pocket Silhouettes is an inexpensive set that is very versatile for any occasion. For this card I used Bashful Blue, Whisper White and Chocolate Chip card stock. Stamped my images and punched them out with the Wide Oval punch, added my saying and a ribbon and the card is done.
