Technique Class Jan. 24th

We had a great time making Valentine gifts at the class on the 24th. I thought I would share a photo of the Valentine mailboxes everyone made.

Thinking Summer

With the weather being so cold today, I am thinking summer can't get here soon enough!! Here's a girlie card for a summer birthday or celebration. The sundress was made using word window and tag punches, ribbon, brads and Designer Series Paper. Sadly, summer is still five long months away.

Inspired By Nature II

I am still playing with this stamp set. This card was inspired by another stamper's card I saw on Splitcoaststampers, thank you. I used Close to Cocoa, Old Olive and Very Vanilla cardstock. For the sun I used stampin Pastels. The cattails were made from the horizontal slot punch. This is a great masculine birthday card.

Inspired by Nature

I'm still playing with some of my new stamps and thought I would share a card I made using Inspired by Nature stamp set. I love this set. I wasn't crazy about this card until I added the glitter to the flowers. When I find that a card I made just doesn't have the pizazz I'm looking for, out comes the glitter or sticklers. I guess I am the glitter/stickler queen, LOL!! Try is sometime.
